Based in sunny Nelson, FSL Foods is a family run business with 20 years’ experience sourcing and selling frozen fruit and vegetables. We work closely with local and international growers to produce leading retail brands such as Fruzio, Goodness Kitchen and The Berry Fix, the majority of which are packed by the team in our Nelson based factory. 

FSL Foods was established by the Glover family in 2003, but our story doesn’t start there, not really. It starts in the 1930’s, when ‘Pop’ Warnes (Glenys Glover’s grandfather) planted the very first raspberry crop in the Tasman region.

Four generations later, and that one block of raspberries has grown into hectares of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries. The farm remains in the family to this day and is still a key supplier of IQF (individually quick frozen) fruit to FSL Foods. We’re pretty proud of our history and the small contribution we’ve made to the New Zealand berry fruit industry.

While we’re proud of our past, we’re equally as excited about our future. We feel a real responsibility to continue to challenge and grow the industry, whether that’s supporting new fruit growers, finding more sustainable ways of working, or introducing new products into the New Zealand market - we can’t wait to see what the next 20 years bring!
